“When I returned to my hometown to start a new adventure with my family, I wanted to spend time being a great husband and father. I also wanted to sharpen my coaching skills and keep developing as a coach. I spent time visiting with local coaches, attending different sporting events, and also coaching and training my own children. I began to see a need for an athletic performance program. We started the Iron Palace with the purpose of providing a training atmosphere to develop, encourage, and challenge athletes to become the best. We trained the athletes using progressions, holding them accountable, and instilling discipline in them by holding them to our standards. This allowed them to master lifting and athletic movements, be around like-minded athletes, and be a part of a program that will aid in getting them to the next level. I felt we truly accomplished our goal for the athletic community and it is still going.
Nick Wade was an athlete in our program and he is continuing on the journey that we started a few years ago. Nick has the same fight that we have when it comes to training athletes. He knows what it takes to get to the next level and the process that will get you there. He was like a sponge when he was an athlete at our facility to learn about programming, techniques, and coaching cues for all aspects of performance. He will continue to do an outstanding job servicing the athletic community through the IRON PALACE.”
